OVERVIEW

This 11-day Tanzanian safari combines an exhilarating wildlife encounter with relaxation on pristine beaches. Start your safari at Tarangire National Park, well known for its large number of elephants and century-old baobab trees, and then visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural haven that is teeming with the Big Five. Proceed to the iconic Serengeti National Park, where you will experience endless plains teeming with wildlife, along with one of the most spectacular happenings known as the Great Migration. Finish off at the spectacular beaches of Zanzibar, where turquoise waters and Swahili culture combine in the most welcome haven.

Day 1 – Arrival in ARUSHA, TANZANIA

Upon arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a our representative and transferred to the African Tulip Hotel (50kms/45mins) for overnight.

Balance of the day spent at leisure with lunch and dinner under own arrangements.

Day 2  – ARUSHA/TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, and a safari briefing, you check out and drive to Tarangire National Park (135kms/2½hrs).

You will arrive, and check in, Maramboi Tented Lodge for overnight.

Following lunch, enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive within Tarangire’s baobab-studded landscape in search of her towering elephants and incredibly large herds of buffalo. Other terrestrial mammals found in the park include leopard, cheetah, parks of wild dogs, hyena, antelopes, zebra, giraffe and many species of birds including the ostrich.

You shall return to lodge in the early evening with time to refresh before dinner and overnight.

Day 3  – TARANGIRE /NGORONGORO CRATER CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, check out and drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area.

En-route, you stop at Lake Manyara National Park for a mid-morning game viewing drive.

After your picnic lunches somewhere in the wilderness, you drive on to Ngorongoro and check in at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 4  – NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast as you descend into the crater floor. Explore the stunning landscape in search of a variety of wild game, such as rhinos, lions, elands, and numerous bird species, offering incredible photo opportunities. Enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch by Lake Makati, surrounded by flamingoes in this enchanting enclosure.

In the late afternoon, exit the crater and return to lodge early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5  – SERENGETI/NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to the famous Serengeti National Park

You arrive at check in at Ole Serai Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6   – SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

Full days dedicated to early morning and late afternoon game drives. Alternatively, opt for an all-day game drive with delightful picnics, all aimed at witnessing the anticipated wildebeest migration in the area during this season. As the day ends, retreat to the camp for a relaxing evening, indulging in a hearty dinner, and spending the night amidst the captivating wilderness.

 Day 7  – SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

Full days dedicated to early morning and late afternoon game drives. Alternatively, opt for an all-day game drive with delightful picnics, all aimed at witnessing the anticipated wildebeest migration in the area during this season. As the day ends, retreat to the camp for a relaxing evening, indulging in a hearty dinner, and spending the night amidst the captivating wilderness.

Day 8  – SERENGETI /ZANZIBAR

After breakfast, you will check transfer to the airstrip for for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, the spice island.

On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, met by our representative and transferred to the north coast Nungwi area and check in at The Residence Zanzibar for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – ZANZIBAR

Full day spent at leisure to enjoy the beach, the ocean, a variety of water sports and ocean sports (some at extra charge) as well as the resort’s amenities including pools and WiFi.

Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners and Selected Drinks are included at the hotel.

Day 10 – ZANZIBAR

Full day spent at leisure to enjoy the beach, the ocean, a variety of water sports and ocean sports (some at extra charge) as well as the resort’s amenities including pools and WiFi.

Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners and Selected Drinks are included at the hotel.

Day 11 – DEPART

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning spent at leisure with lunch under own arrangements.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
