Spend 3 day in Tarangire National Park. With early morning game drives and evening game drives. View animals as they quench their thirst on the Tarangire River. Catch a glimpse of the African sunrise over the towering baobab trees dotting the plains. Even in the comfort of your bungalow peer out the window to see animals roam and graze freely.
Upon arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro Airport, our driver/ guide will meet you. After a safari briefing proceed to drive to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park is located in the northern part of Tanzania. Named after the Tarangire River, which is the lifeline of the park being the main water season during the dry season. The park is located approximately 118Kms from Arusha with a driving time of about 2 to 3 hrs. Tarangire is famous for its large baobab trees, which dot the landscape. The park also boasts of large herds of elephants, being the largest in Tanzania. It is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and many mere species. It is also a great location for birdwatching with over 550-recorded species of birdlife.
Arrive and check in at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge in time for lunch. In the evening, enjoy a game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, exit the lodge and enjoy a game drive in search of wildlife like leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes and more.
Later return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, head out for a game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, say goodbye to the Tarangire and drive back to Arusha.. Arrive and proceed to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
