This 4 days safari to Kibale Forest national park the Primate Capital of the world for a thrilling Chimpanzee trekking Safari. The journey include one night stay in Entebbe, two night in Kibale and to top it of Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale to encounter the chimps.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, by our representative will meet and transfer you to Airport Guesthouse, Entebbe for overnight. Balance of the day spent at leisure with dinner under own arrangements/on own account.
After breakfast, check out and meet your driver/guide, after a safari briefing, driven to Kibale Forest National Park.
Kibale National Park is located in the South Western Uganda. Located approximately 335kms from Entebbe with a driving time of 5 to 6 hrs depending on road conditions and traffic. Kibale is home to at least 13 primate species including chimpanzees, red colobus monkey and L’hoest monkey. It also has over 375 species of birdlife making it a great birdwatchers paradise. Kibale is also home to many crater lakes.
With lunch at a local restaurant en-route, arrive at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to the park offices for a guided Chimpanzee tracking excursion.
After your magical encounter with our closest relative trek back to base where your driver/guide will be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a hiking/walking tour around the Bigodi Swamp, a community based conservation project popular for primates, birds and butterflies.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe.
With lunch, en route arrive in Entebbe and proceed to the Entebbe International airport for your departure flight.
